Dr. McGovern is five-star!! He did a great job when I really needed some relief while on vacation in the Eastern Sierra. If you need a goto chiro while on the road, or a regular chiropractor in Bishop, he's the guy. Here's my longer story: I was in the area for a week and my neck was super-tight from the long drive from Utah. I called another chiropractor who refused to see me when they found out I have an ongoing personal injury case!!! I thought docs were there to treat sick people but not Dr. Schmidt, the other chiro in Bishop. I called Dr. McGovern, he was awesome!!! He got me in quickly, did a great interview to understand my situation, and he really took the time needed to get my neck to loosen up, I was SO THANKFUL!!! Dr. McGovern is very well educated, I know a lot about chiropractic and I would personally recommend him as a caring and thorough doctor, the best in Bishop! He took the time to do some massage work in addition to adjusting me. Most chiros will just treat you for five minutes and then charge extra for any other service, Dr. McGovern gave me the personal attention and saved my trip. I normally see a chiro 3 times a week in Utah due to a recent injury and Dr. McGovern was available for a second visit so I was able to take a much needed vacation without interrupting my medical treatments.
