I am a former client of Sierra Valley Chiropractic. The location is awfully inconvenient. Parking is extremely limited. If you manage to find a parking space, bring a can-opener so you can get out. As far as Chiropractic adjustments are concerned, Heidi did a decent job. I avoided scheduling with Ben. He required constant reassurance that he's not adjusting a fragile dandelion. His adjustments were not affective. Despite being an established patient, I walked in for a scheduled appointment today. I arrived via pre-arranged medical transport. I felt practically invisible. So, I took the initiative to approach the young lady at the front counter to advise her of my appointment. She finally acknowledged my presence (no pleasantries, zero formalities) but with a look on her face like she just bit into a sour Eureka Lemon (apparently it's a permanent expression). She says, we don't honor your secondary insurance so we'll need $7 per visit from now on -- cash money. Why they neglected to notify me prior to my traveling to their office, I have no idea. I inquired as to whether they could see me today as a one-time courtesy. Her response was, and I quote, "If you don't have seven dollars, you can just go home!" I checked in with Ben on the way out the door, hoping he would honor the agreement he made upon my first visit with them (months ago). The agreement was "zero co-pays", but he confirmed that cash on the barrel head is the new policy. Very unprofessional!

My elderly (92) mother in a fluke hurt her back pretty badly. I was afraid she was going to fall and having a really big problem on my hands. We called Sierra, and Dr Ben was the kindest man to my mother. His office got us in that same day and he took the utmost, and very thorough, care of my mother. He even went so far as giving me his personal cell number should we need anything, and offered help in any way he could should she need to go to the urgent care or ER. The kindness and care from this office is unparalleled! Thanks again so much for all the help, Dr. Ben Rob Clendening

I wish I could give a 10 star! I’ve been in a lot of pain with frozen shoulder and tendinitis in my right side, also some neck issues with a bulging disc and some vertebrae’s slipping causing pinched nerves and pain on my left side as well… basically a mess! I called over the weekend and got a call back on Monday morning from Dr. Ben. I’ve called so many chiropractors and just felt meh about it, on the phone with Dr. Ben I immediately felt a calm feeling. He was so nice and welcoming just over the phone. I made an appointment and went in and he was even nicer in person. He squeezed me in but never rushed the appointment. He took his time and was very thorough with me. I felt like he actually cared. He even texted me some verbiage to give to my physical therapist. He was professional yet silly and I loved that. I felt so comfortable and at home. I think when you find business like this it’s a no brainer, he will forever be my chiropractor. I highly recommend this office.
