I started working out with Daniel to learn proper form and build strength after a knee injury. He is so knowledgeable and encouraging. The small classes have helped me build muscle and improve my home workouts. Highly recommend!

When I came to Dr. Dan I was in so much pain I was struggling with basic physical activity. He was able to help me understand the problem and get back to my active life within a few months. Dr. Dan is a great listener, works within his client's existing routines, and is a true holistic expert. If I could give him 10 stars I would!

I was fortunate to meet Dr. Cordero at a Padel club (amazing growing sport in SD), and have a discussion with him at his demo table which led me to book a more in-depth complimentary initial consultation at his office. Being a healthcare professional myself I've worked with several practitioners of traditional medicine. However, I've also pursued multiple non-invasive treatments such as physical therapy, sports massage, foam-rolling, contrast therapy (infrared sauna, cold plunges) and compression therapy. In essence, if it's for some sort of sports or physical recovery, I've likely tried it! Having an extensive health history including hip surgery and multiple injuries due to hypermobility and being a hyper-extender, no matter the strength training I've done, how fit I am, or sports recovery tools I utilize or treatments I receive, I've continually had limitations of activity and impact to my quality of life due to pain, aches, and muscle/joint discomfort. So when I met Dr. Cordero and he was employing a very different type of physical training and treatment modality called dynamic neuromuscular stabilization (DNS), I was willing to give it a try. I've seen Dr. Cordero for about 5 sessions. Initially, I saw him a week apart for 2 sessions to maximize results in a shorter period of time. I wasn't sure how quickly I'd see any change or benefit, and I was diligent with doing the exercises daily. I purchased another tool that Dr. Cordero recommended to help provide external feedback that I was pressing the obliques out and over time, have progressed to use it less and less or without the primary feedback knobs. I was SHOCKED and SO grateful at how quickly I had such significant results. Doing a handful of exercises for about 10-15min, twice daily within the first week, I already noticed less discomfort and pain after exercise and activity. As we continued, even my neck and trapes were less tight and my foam rolling was reduced to 1/4-1/3 of the time. Previously, I was foam rolling about 30-60min daily for recovery after doing some sort of sports or exercise, even on days where my body just didn’t feel great! Yes, I know, it sounds excessive, but that's how much pain/discomfort I would have and in order to maintain and feel able to be active, that was the formula that worked. I also get sport massage every 2 weeks. As you hear, health is wealth, so I was willing to invest for the long term. I continued to progress exercises with Dr. Cordero, and my last 2 sessions, I saw him every 4 weeks. I've had some shifts in some discomfort/pain but in comparison, it's minimal. Overall, it is leaps and bounds different and my body feels drastically improved and so much better! An activity like playing sport for 2-3 hours would literally crush my body for 2-3 days, sometimes a week or two if it was really bad, but now, I may have some general fatigue the next day, but even a short foam rolling session makes it seem almost null. This is close to 20 YEARS that I've been having this type of struggle, so finding Dr. Cordero and his treatment modalities have been revolutionary and life-changing in the most positive way! I am beyond grateful, and I cannot thank him enough for his willingness to share his knowledge and help people really find the right solutions for their body, fitness, and goals! Dr. Cordero is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about helping his clients find the right tools and solutions. He customizes based on you and although he’s a sports chiropractor his intent is to see you to help you achieve those goals without unnecessary ongoing sessions. He's checked in regularly and provided videos and other guides, as needed. I highly recommend him and I know if you have health and fitness goals or pain/discomfort in your body, Dr. Cordero will surely work to help you target your symptoms and improve your health and vitality! Thank you SO much for all your help and support! It's seriously changed my life for the better and I am forever grateful!

I can’t say enough good things about Daniel! I started going to his kettlebell/functional strength training classes in 2020 for help navigating my fitness journey and to learn how to build strength while managing a low back injury and chronic neck pain. It’s four years later and I’m still a regular at his classes. He’s knowledgeable, kind, patient, and down to earth, and he tailors exercises to each of his clients. He’s taught me how to train in a way that protects my back and honors my body. His classes are fun and help foster a positive, encouraging fitness community.
