I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Alexandra Andersson, a chiropractor who came to my Jiu Jitsu academy where I train her daughter in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. After recently finishing a tournament, I was dealing with discomfort from a rib that was out of place, which was impacting my movement and causing difficulty with my breathing. Dr. Andersson’s expertise impressed me from the start. She assessed my condition right on the mat, and her understanding of both chiropractic care and physical well being was evident. I went to Dr Alexandra with a shoulder issue that came up after training. I could barely raise it. She was able to alleviate the pain through her stretching techniques and deep tissue massage. After the first session I was pretty much 75% pain-free and mobility was improved greatly. More importantly, she was very helpful in pinpointing different areas that are causing the pain in the shoulder. Very impressed with her knowledge and she her approach on body wellness. Love working with Dr. Alexandra! It is so nice when you get to work with a practitioner who truly cares about your long term health. Alexandra is very knowledgable about the body and I also enjoy hearing the experiences she has been through with her own health journey and how she went from dealing with chronic pain to living free in her body. Every time I have a session I learn something new about my body and what it needs. Each time I go I usually will have one of two preferences, needing body work and a great adjustment that leaves my body feeling relaxed and restored. In the past, I have had chiropractors adjust me quick and rapidly without any myofascial release beforehand and I always end up with significant rebound pain or headaches and that never happens with Dr. Alexandra. The second preference is going in ready to learn and take home exercises that will help my body long term. She is very knowledgable about how to get the body unstuck and strong. Highly recommend seeing her!

I can't recommend Dr. Alexandra with Alta Health + Performance enough. I didn't have much experience with going to a chiropractor, but she has helped me feel like there is a clear path forward in rehabbing my current injury. You can tell she really listens and cares, and she puts a lot of time and thought into providing thorough movement instruction via email for homework. Dr. Alexandra provides a very comfortable office space as well. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!
