Planned on getting surgery on discs that were pressing against my spinal chord. Dr Smaldone has the equipment (decompression tables) and the expertise to put a treatment plan together which has been a game changer. Very grateful for the relief he has provided.

I was visiting Ulster County, and I was suffering residual pain from a rib injury a couple of weeks prior that still hadn't healed. A friend local to the area recommended Dr. Smaldone. When I came into the office, my pain was a 7 on a scale of 1-10, and when Dr. Smaldone palpated various spots, the pain rose to an 8 or 9. I was practically yelling when he pressed there. After examining me, he said he didn't think my ribs needed any adjusting but that they would benefit from a laser treatment. He brought out a laser wand that looks like a portable shower head with tiny lights around the edge and placed it onto my ribs for ten minutes. He then taped up my ribs and suggested I return later in the week for another treatment, or maybe 2, as needed. The next morning, my ribs were measurably better. Another day later, and the pain was down to a 2-3. By the third day, when I was scheduled to return for another treatment, the pain was 100% gone. The office graciously cancelled my appointment on my request, and since then, I've returned to full mobility and activity, with NO pain. In short, Dr. Smaldone worked a small miracle on me with that laser. I wish more people knew about this tool and that more health professionals used it. Thank you, Dr. Smaldone!
