I've been dealing with chronic back pain for 7 years or so and have been through PT twice, a spinal epidural and countless medications of all sorts so acupuncture was a side thought as it was the only thing other than surgery. Honestly I didn't put much stock into bc if it worked so we'll why isn't it recommended by Dr and insurance companies more but came in with an open mind. He sits down and explains everything and is receptive of questions. I did 10 needles on this visit. 1 in each ear, 1 on each hand the rest along my back. After that was a quick adjustment and I haven't felt this good in years and even then it was because of large doses of morphine. There is a tiny bit of soreness which is nothing compared to what I've been going through. If you are putting acupuncture off because you may not find it beneficial just do it. He's someone I'd have a beer with (if I still drank) and is very personable. His front office help is great too! Very kind and helpful.
