The minute Dr. Leavitt puts his hands on you, it's immediately clear that he knows exactly what he's doing. He is so skilled at chiropractic work and has an innate ability to quickly tune in to what your body needs to feel better. Plus, he's just a great all-around guy and a delight to spend time with. Even if you don't live in South Portland, it's well worth the trip to see him.

I have seen Randy for 2 separate accidents that required a bit of rehab, chiropractic and deep tissue work. Each time he was very helpful in getting me healed and feeling better. His care and technique was essential in getting my health back and you can tell that he is vested and wants you to get better.

Great care and friendly, professional service. I have been to a couple chiropractor/massage therapy offices in this area, and Dr. Leavitt and his team are the best in my experience.

I have been using chiropractors for over thirty-five years for a variety of reasons from a bulging disc to regular maintenance while working at an extremely physical job loading semi-trailers. Over the years I have seen some doctors who simply weren't very good and several who have been outstanding health care providers. I believe Dr. Leavitt is by far the best doctor I've seen. I found Dr. Leavitt several months ago and was surprised and impressed that my initial session included everything from moist heat, to deep tissue work, to detailed explanations of anatomy and of course an adjustment. Dr. Leavitt's opinion was that an effective adjustment should equate to fewer treatments and I should come back whenever my body told me it was time. In mid-November I had a motorcycle accident that resulted in a separated shoulder. My body had taken a very traumatic blow to the right shoulder and then continued to roll a considerable distance down a hill. My two primary sources of post-acute injury treatment would be acupuncture and chiropractics. I just completed my fourth session with Dr. Leavitt covering a two week stretch as well as two acupuncture sessions. Progress has been remarkable. My work with Dr. Leavitt has been both extraordinary and indispensable. His knowledge of treatment and injury recovery is extensive. HIs body working skills are excellent as are his adjustments. Part of the high level of care I've received in his office is his compassion as a provider. His ability to be one hundred percent attentive translates into feeling heard and cared for in a very personal way. I think Dr. Leavitt exemplifies the very best of the health care community. He is in my opinion not just a doctor of chiropractics, but a true healer.
