Would not see my wife for a 5-minute rib adjustment, because she would be a new patient. They lost two potential new patients, after telling me to call back Monday or Tuesday... Obviously, they have never had a rib out.

I visited Dr. Scheitel several times. My situation was similar to another reviewer. I was told several times to come back. I asked if all of the services were covered under my insurance and I was told that they were as long as I paid the co-pay. I did so, however I received a letter from a debt collector saying I owed the clinic a few hundred dollars. I never received a bill from them, however I was turned over to a collector. I will pay this bill but I would never return as I never felt comfortable while in his care. He is very informal and doesn't have good bedside manor. There are several chiropractors in the area, I would recommend seeing one of them.

I have been seeing Dr Scheitel for more than 20 years on & off after near fatal car wreck. I have found he can usually correct an acute problem form an injury in 5 or 6 visits and can make chronic pain from my back injury improve greatly after only 1 visit. I have found him to be very helpful in treating my injuries. As to billing I have found all medical bills to be exorbitant but insurance usually cover it. When I did not have insurance I explained things before hand and he and his staff were very open to working with me so that I could get the care I needed. I feel I am much better off than a friend of mine who had similar injuries and had a spinal fusion. Sometimes you need surgery but I would highly recommend trying every alternative first, and chiropractic care is a great start.
